New Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Models Debut with Dark Blue Ceramic "Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50"

Audemars Piguet, the renowned Swiss luxury watchmaker, has unveiled a new series of Royal Oak models as part of their 150th anniversary celebrations. Among the latest additions is a collection of watches featuring the striking "Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50" dark blue ceramic, inspired by the night sky of Switzerland's Vallée de Joux.

The new Royal Oak Offshore 42mm Bleu Nuit Nuage 50 Ceramic (Ref. 26238CD.OO.1300CD.01) is one of the main attractions. This model boasts a case and bracelet both made of the dark blue ceramic, an automatic movement, and a release date set for 2025. Priced approximately at $115,000 USD, this timepiece is new but may have limited immediate stock.

Another notable addition is the Royal Oak Double Balance Wheel Openworked (Ref. 15416CD) in Bleu Nuit Nuage 50. This openworked variant features the same dark blue ceramic color and has been seen on social media posts, suggesting it is a recently launched or special edition piece. Although pricing and availability details have not been explicitly provided, this high-end release is expected to be exclusive.

The Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph, another model in the series, houses a titanium chip inside its crown and comes in a 43mm case with a thickness of 14.4mm. It features a regular tricompax configuration, is powered by the in-house Caliber 4401 automatic flyback chronograph movement, and offers a 70-hour power reserve. The watch comes with dark blue ceramic features, including the chronograph pushers and crown, and is available with a dark blue integrated ceramic bracelet to match the case.

The watches in the series are priced differently. The Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph retails for $42,900, while the Royal Oak Openworked model is priced at $101,100. The Royal Oak Offshore models do not have a limited edition status.
