Hitachi Kokusai to Showcase Two 4K UHD Camera Systems at NAB Show New York

Hitachi Kokusai is set to showcase two 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD) camera systems at the NAB Show New York, taking place on October 9-10. Among the systems being showcased is the DK-H700 box camera, a compact Point of View (POV) solution that was introduced at the NAB Show in April.

The DK-H700 box camera, like the SK-UHD7000 and SK-UHD7000-S2, uses the same UHD sensor. This multiformat solution operates within Rec. BT.2100 High Dynamic Range standards and complies with ITU-R.BT-2020 wide color gamut specifications, enabling independent program production in a dual workflow configuration for HDTV or UHD SDI output formats.

The DK-H700 box camera's features allow for content creation that adheres to the ITU-R.BT-2020 and Rec. BT.2100 standards, ensuring high-quality 4K productions. Its sensitivity of F11 at 59.94 frames allows for high-quality acquisition in low lighting conditions. The camera system also provides a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 62 dB, resulting in ultra-quiet images.

The DK-H700 box camera's global shutter technology minimizes unwanted artifacts such as flickering and banding, ensuring consistent results for 4K productions. This camera system was designed with extraordinary sensitivity, making it an ideal choice for demanding 4K productions.

In addition to the DK-H700 box camera, Hitachi Kokusai will also showcase the SK-UHD7000 camera system. This nearly identical model to the SK-UHD7000-S2 is designed for users who want high-quality 1080p productions today and a cost-effective path to 4K/UHD in the future. The SK-UHD7000-S2 offers a license-upgrade option for immediate entry to the 4K/UHD production world.

The SK-UHD7000 camera system incorporates three 2/3-inch CMOS image sensors with native 4K resolution. Like the DK-H700 box camera, the SK-UHD7000 camera system uses global shutter technology to minimize unwanted artifacts and provides a signal-to-noise ratio of 62 dB.

It's worth noting that there is no publicly available information about the founder or key person behind Hitachi Kokusai, the manufacturer of the SK-UHD7000 cameras showcased at the 2024 NAB Show New York.

The DK-H700 box camera will be showcased at the NAB Show New York booth 837 in the future. For those interested in learning more about Hitachi Kokusai's 4K UHD camera systems, the NAB Show New York is an excellent opportunity to see these innovative products in action.
