UAE Integrates Artificial Intelligence across Education, Ranging from Kindergarten to Doctoral Studies
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is embarking on a bold journey to transform key sectors, boost the digital economy, and build a digitally empowered society by 2071. This national AI strategy aligns with the UAE Centennial 2071 Vision, aiming for sustainable development, digital transformation, and economic diversification.
At the heart of this transformation is the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), a leading institution in AI education. Ranking among the top 10 universities globally in core AI disciplines, MBZUAI is playing a pivotal role in the UAE's AI-driven future.
MBZUAI boasts a diverse student body from 39 countries, with Emiratis making up around 17% and women accounting for 31% of enrolments. Over 300 students have graduated with advanced degrees from MBZUAI, with 80% joining the UAE's growing AI ecosystem.
The university offers a comprehensive range of academic pathways in AI at multiple levels.
