UK welcomes Valerion's introduction of VisionMaster Pro 2 laser projector, boasting 4K resolution and Dolby Vision technology. Valerion expands its market reach further.
Projector Brands Take a Leap: Valerion Enters the UK Market
Coming hot off its staggering $10.9 million (£8m) Kickstarter campaign, Valerion, the most crowdfunded projector brand ever, has ventured into the UK.
Its flagship projector, the VisionMaster Pro 2, is now available at Richer Sounds and Peter Tyson, with more retailers joining the lineup next month. But it's not all about the Pro 2 – Valerion offers four models in total.
Valerion delivers top-notch hardware with a user-friendly design while keeping the price friendly. The VisionMaster Pro 2 showcases features usually reserved for the elite, all for £2599. It's engineered for dazzling brightness and industry-leading color performance, thanks to its RGB triple-laser technology.
Key features include 4K resolution, 3000 ISO lumens of brightness, 110% Rec.2020 color coverage, and an Enhanced Black Level (EBL) optical engine for better contrast and shadow detail. Plus, it supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, IMAX Enhanced, and has a Filmmaker Mode.
Gamers will appreciate the 240Hz refresh rate with just 4ms of lag (though it's at 1080p HD, not 4K). And it's versatile, thanks to auto-focus, auto-keystone, and intelligent obstacle avoidance.
If £2599 is a stretch, the VisionMaster Max, the range's priciest model, boasts a professional-grade lens system and 3500 lumens of brightness for £4349. On the other hand, the Original VisionMaster Pro, slightly cheaper than the Pro 2, offers most of the same specs but slightly lower brightness – ideal for darker rooms. Finally, the StreamMaster Plus 2, another 4K RGB triple-laser model, delivers immersive visuals and vivid colors for £1899.
All models run Google TV and support AirPlay 2, Chromecast, and Bluetooth. With the VisionMaster Pro 2, the proof lies in the testing. Keep an eye out for our reviews soon.
