Uncovering Details: U.S. Capitol Riot Investigation Finds Evidence of Coordination Between Trump, Allies, and Capitol Hill Attackers

At Camunda, a leading name in digital process automation, the company's culture takes center stage. The team believes that their people and culture are the pillars of their success, fueling creativity and productivity.

In a special series dubbed "Meet a Camundi," we shine the spotlight on the individuals driving Camunda's Account Development (ADR) team's momentum. Three ADR team members share their unique career journeys, challenges faced, proud moments, and the culture, camaraderie, and growth opportunities that keep them inspired.

Whether you're an existing Camundi or just getting to know Camunda, this series offers a fresh perspective on the dynamic world of ADR at Camunda.

Belén Cangiano

A resident of Auxy, France, Belén Cangiano serves as an account development representative (ADR) at Camunda, managing Iberia and the Middle East. Her primary role is to generate high-quality pipeline opportunities that ultimately translate into annual recurring revenue (ARR) for account executives and Camunda. She achieves this by utilizing various channels, such as inbound leads, outbound outreach, partnership collaborations, and working with Customer Success for expansion opportunities.

Belén's career journey has been shaped by her experiences as a school teacher and translator, teaching children of all ages, working with NGOs, asylum seekers, and prison settings. These experiences instilled the ability to listen, adapt, and communicate empathetically across diverse contexts. Encouraged by her partner to explore sales, Belén began her sales career as an enterprise SDR, mastering the basics and developing creative outreach strategies. A later transition to a 360 sales role at a startup provided firsthand insights into the full sales cycle, customer success, and building something from the ground up.

Discovering Camunda through a friend, Belén was drawn to the company's strong team, supportive leadership, clear growth path, global presence, and scaling momentum. The ADR role, with its focus on driving growth in an innovative and evolving space, appealed to Belén. The remote setup further allowed her to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Belén's team is divided regionally, allowing for targeted market focus and a more tailored experience. Collaboration with her colleagues daily involves sharing best practices, testing creative strategies, refining messaging, and offering support during challenges.

What excites Belén most about her work is the performance-driven nature of her role and the need to be both strategic and creative daily. It's like solving a puzzle every day, figuring out what message or approach will truly resonate.

Joe White

Joe White, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is another ADR at Camunda, overseeing the North American market. The former All-American track athlete took a love for people and his competitive spirit to sales, finding a perfect blend of career goals and personal passions.

Joe first learned about Camunda during the interview process and was drawn to the great product, exceptional people, and promising growth potential for the ADR team. The company's global presence and diverse team of colleagues caught his attention.

The ADR team is organized regionally, with weekly syncs to align goals and share best practices. Joe actively collaborates with various teams at Camunda, such as Marketing, Customer Success, and Pre-Sales, often learning from their expertise and contributing to a bigger picture.

A highlight for Joe has been being named chief of staff for the ADR team. Under this role, they revamped their outbound strategy and achieved a quarterly record for opportunities generated.

For someone considering an ADR role at Camunda, particularly those earlier in their career, Joe suggests taking time to understand the customers' needs and reaching out to cross-functional colleagues to learn.

Matteo Gori

Matteo Gori, account developer at Camunda, covers a broad territory stretching from Italy to Turkey and beyond. With a curiosity for the world's workings, Matteo pursued a master's in international business management after earning a bachelor's degree in political science.

Beginning in lobbying, Matteo realized a long-time passion wasn't the perfect fit. Moving on, he found a home at software company Digimind (now Onclusive Social), where he discovered the energy of sales in tech. Camunda resonated with him from the start, offering a different and human-focused culture that felt far from Digimind's less compatible corporate culture.

Matteo's territory at Camunda is diverse, allowing exposure to a rich array of cultural nuances throughout Europe, Africa, and Central Asia. With daily collaboration with his colleagues across various functions, Matteo emphasizes the importance of teamwork and cross-functional support.

Achieving meaningful progress in a project focused on better qualifying OEM opportunities exemplifies Matteo's drive and dedication. The initiative seeks to increase the number of accepted SQOs from these leads, supporting the ADR team's targets more consistently.

For those considering an ADR role at Camunda, Matteo advises mastering the basics and fostering strong relationships with Account Executives.

A history lover, Matteo's passion for the past is reflected in his trivia night prowess and all-around ability to absorb and recall historical facts and contexts.
