New Electric SUV Makes a Splash in Singapore Market
The Avatr 11, a premium electric SUV, has made its debut in the Singaporean market. With its impressive specifications and advanced features, it is quickly gaining attention from consumers.
The Avatr 11 is available in both BEV and AWD variants in Singapore. The BEV variant, priced at 278,999 Singapore dollars, boasts a powerful rear electric motor that produces 237 kW (318 hp) and 396 Nm of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a swift 6.5 seconds. On the other hand, the AWD variant, priced at 303,999 Singapore dollars, features an additional front electric motor, producing 165 kW (221 hp) and 291 Nm, allowing it to reach the same speed in 6.9 seconds.
Both variants come equipped with a ternary lithium battery, with the BEV variant boasting a 116.79 kWh capacity and the AWD variant offering a slightly smaller 116 kWh capacity. This results in impressive cruising ranges for both models. The BEV variant offers a range of up to 600 km according to WLTP, while the AWD variant boasts a CLTC cruising range of 760 km, making it an ideal choice for long-distance drives.
The Avatr 11 is a medium-to-large SUV, with dimensions of 4895/1970/1601 mm and a wheelbase of 2975 mm. The BEV variant in Singapore runs on 21-inch alloy rims, while the long range variant upgrades to 22-inch alloy rims. Both variants come with Brembo brakes for enhanced safety.
Charging the Avatr 11 is a breeze, with both variants supporting fast charging. The BEV variant can recharge from 0% to 80% in 35 minutes, while the AWD variant requires slightly longer at 25 minutes.
The Singaporean government requires a Certificate of Entitlement (COE) for buying a car, which costs approximately 100,000 Singapore dollars. With the Avatr 11's competitive pricing and impressive specifications, it is an attractive option for consumers in the market for a premium electric SUV.
The Avatr 11 was officially launched in the Singaporean market on July 25, and early sales have been strong. In June, 153 units of the Avatr 11 were sold, accounting for 1.5% of the monthly sales. With its combination of range, performance, and advanced tech features, the Avatr 11 is poised to make a significant impact in the Singaporean market.
