Unreleased iPad Pro with Apple M5 Chip Unveiled in Leaked Video

An unreleased iPad Pro model, powered by the Apple M5 chip, has been revealed in a recent unboxing video. The new device, expected to be announced later this month, boasts several upgrades over its predecessor, the M4 iPad Pro.

The M5 iPad Pro comes with a significant boost in RAM, offering 12GB for the 256GB variant, up from 8GB in the M4 model. Additionally, the L2 cache of the M5 chip has been increased to 6MB, providing faster data access and improved performance.

In terms of processing power, the M5 chip delivers a 10% performance increase in single-core and 15% in multi-core tasks compared to the M4. The M5 GPU also outperforms its predecessor, with about an 8% improvement in AnTuTu tests. Furthermore, the M5 chip's metal graphics performance has increased by 38% compared to the M4 chip.

Design-wise, the M5 iPad Pro maintains a nearly identical look to the M4 iPad Pro, featuring a super-flat housing and a single camera on the back. However, it does not bear the 'iPad Pro' branding on the back and comes in a slimmer box.

The M5 iPad Pro, running iPadOS 26.0, is set to be a powerful addition to Apple's tablet lineup. With its improved RAM, faster processing speeds, and enhanced graphics performance, the new iPad Pro promises to deliver a smoother and more efficient user experience. Apple is expected to officially announce the device later this month.
