The prestigious award, presented biennially by the Styrian Timber Construction Guild, Better with Wood, and proHolz Styria, celebrates contemporary architecture and craftsmanship. This year's jury, chaired by Architect Christian Andexer and including Timber Construction Master Robert Böhm, Katharina Kern, Andreas Ringhofer, and Peter Mandl, selected eleven outstanding projects.

The awarded structures span various categories, including educational, tourism, agricultural, commercial, residential, and engineering buildings. They demonstrate the performance of wood as a building material and the competence of Styrian craft businesses. Despite extensive searches, the name of the architect leading the award-winning project remains unknown.
