VLF Launches Powerful Mobster 135 Scooter in India
VLF has launched the Mobster 135 in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, combining European design standards with cost control through CKD kits. The electric scooter, priced at ₹1.30 lakh, is the most powerful in its segment and has received 1,000 bookings in its first 48 hours.
The Mobster 135 is powered by a 125 cc engine producing 12.1 bhp and 11.7 Nm, with a top speed of 105 kmph. It comes packed with features like a 5-inch TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, keyless ignition, auto start-stop, LED lighting, illuminated switches, dual-channel ABS, and traction control. The electric scooter's design is inspired by streetfighters, featuring muscular body panels, twin projector headlamps, and an aggressive stance.
Produced by MotoHaus in partnership with Italian designs, the Mobster 135 is designed by Alexandro Tatarini of the renowned Tatarini family. VLF currently operates through 12 dealerships and plans to add 13 more outlets. The first 2,500 units are available at an introductory price of ₹1.30 lakh, after which the price will increase to ₹1.38 lakh.
The VLF Mobster 135 is set to hit the roads in November 2025, backed by a 4-year/40,000 km warranty and one year of roadside assistance. With its powerful engine, impressive features, and aggressive design, the electric scooter is poised to make a mark in the Indian scooter market.
