Volvo Unveils ES90: A New Electric Flagship Blending Design and Tech
Volvo has unveiled the ES90, a new fully electric model that blends sedan, fastback, and SUV design elements. The ES90 joins the EX90 SUV as a flagship model, combining advanced technologies and Scandinavian design for superior comfort. The ES90 is available for order in various European markets, starting at £69,650 in the UK.
The ES90 offers a spacious interior with six ambient lighting themes and a panoramic roof. It features advanced climate control and a high-fidelity Bowers & Wilkins sound system with 25 speakers and Dolby Atmos. Safety is paramount with radars, cameras, ultrasonic sensors, and a Luminar LiDAR system. The infotainment system includes Google built-in.
Volvo has integrated dual Nvidia Drive AGX Orin chips in the ES90 for enhanced safety and driving performance. At a 350kW charging station, the ES90 can add 300km of range in just 10 minutes, with a maximum driving range of up to 700km under WLTP testing. The ES90 is the first Volvo model to feature 800V charging technology, enabling ultra-fast charging capabilities.
