It includes the full message text, media preview, and chat name, making it easy for users to organise and revisit messages directly within WhatsApp. Users can also choose the precise time and date for the reminder using a fully customisable option, or select preset intervals such as two hours, eight hours, or one day.

The new reminder system is currently available to a select group of iOS users. It was previously introduced on Android, and the availability on WhatsApp will be expanded to include more accounts in the coming weeks.
