In a groundbreaking development, World Mobile Stratospheric, a certified unmanned aircraft, is set to revolutionise the telecom sector. Powered by a hydrogen-powered, fixed-wing aircraft developed in partnership with a global aerospace leader, the platform promises to deliver direct-to-handset 5G connectivity without relying on traditional ground-based infrastructure.
The aircraft can fly at altitudes of up to 20,000 meters and supports up to 500,000 simultaneous mobile connections per aircraft, covering up to 15,000 square kilometers with 450 guidable beams. This scalable solution is ideal for both dense user locations and remote areas.
